Upcycling Workshop
Collaboration & Context
As Makara, we led a workshop focused on upcycled product and object design with members of the Interuniversity Industrial Design Student Community (Studesigners). The process, hosted by the Turkey Design Foundation, blended conceptual discussions with practical applications.
Material & Process
Throughout the workshop, we explored the circular potential of materials while positioning waste as the primary input of design. Egg cartons were selected as the main material; waste materials were collected with participants, and experiments were conducted on how these cartons could transform into new products.
